Editorial Policy
This Editorial Policy describes the principles and processes behind everything we publish. It applies to all authors and editors contributing to The Galactic Alien.
Independence and neutrality
Our editorial decisions are independent of advertisers and any third party. Advertising never influences the content, conclusions or framing of an article. We present subjects neutrally and avoid sensationalism.
Evidence-based framing
We clearly separate documented facts from hypotheses and from unverified claims. Speculative material is labeled as such, and articles on contested topics carry a visible editorial note.
We use careful language — 'according to reports', 'some researchers suggest', 'there is no scientific confirmation' — rather than absolute statements.
Authorship and review
Every article is attributed to a named author or the editorial team, reviewed before publication, and dated. We disclose when content is updated and maintain the original publication date for transparency.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly and transparently. If you spot a factual mistake, contact us and we will review it. Substantive corrections are reflected in the article's last-updated date.
Original content
All articles are written originally for The Galactic Alien. We do not publish plagiarized, auto-generated low-quality, or duplicated content. Quotations and historical materials are attributed to their sources.
